“You are left speechless, enthralled, frightened and amused. La La La Human Steps is taking dance to its highest level...” Munchner Merkur, Munich
Expanding the limits of physical, vertiginous, and sensual movement, Édouard Lock’s new creation unites dancers in a radiant display of demanding technique, intricate structure, and breakneck speed. Interwoven sound and visual juxtapose rawness and beauty, highlighting and shaping new forms of physical interaction.
Performed by nine dancers from La La La Human Steps, Amjad – which also integrates film and four live musicians – reunites Mr. Lock with long-time collaborators Stéphane Roy (set design), David Lang (music), Liz Vandal (costume design) and John Munro (lighting).
Don’t miss this unique experience!
“[Édouard] Lock surpasses all limits. His revolutionary physical language has influenced an entire generation of dancers…” ” Die Welt, Berlin
