The Studio Series is designed to enrich the dance experience of our audience. The series was first offered to Ballet British Columbia subscribers during the 1992/93 season, John Alleyne’s first season as Artistic Director.  It is now offered to all members of the community on a By Donation basis, and turns away no one with the inability to pay.

The Studio Series is a series of three informal sessions held in-studio at Ballet British Columbia’s rehearsal studios in the Scotiabank Dance Centre.
Each session includes a lecture and performance component, is hosted by a member of Ballet British Columbia’s Artistic Department management team and features a Guest Artist.

Tickets for The Studio Series are by contribution, and audience members are welcomed at no cost. This pay what you can/by donation basis ensures that professional dance experiences are available to all members of our community.

The performance will include excerpts from Ballet BC's repertoire.
